Biogas as a renewable energy
Organic substances from household and livestock wastes are raw materials for biogas. Anaerobic decomposition of organic waste that is riched of cellulose by microorganisms (bacteria methanogenesis) produces methane and other gases as by products such as CO2 and H2S. Biogas production scheme with a fairly simple installation, low cost, easy and safe handling and operation can be self-made by community, especially in remote areas. Products with high purity methane can also be produced using the method of screening.
